Can you cook pizza in an air fryer? We share with you how to cook pizza in an air fryer so it comes out tasting great.
We are proud to announce that we have created an air fryer!
A few years ago, my wife, Kristine, and I shared a vision of using an air fryer to make pizza. We originally thought the process would be similar to the traditional oven, but it turned out not to be true. While the oven cooks your pizza in 30-45 minutes (depending on how long you leave it alone), the air fryer is like ovens – but only for 50% as long. The key difference is that in a traditional oven, you can start or stop cooking at any time; in an air fryer, you can only start cooking when your pizza is halfway done.
Disclaimer: This post is NOT about how to cook pizza in an air fryer. It’s about how to cook this very specific kind of pizza. We cannot say for sure if people would buy an air fryer because it would allow them to cook their pizzas quickly and intuitively; but we can say that our friends did so overwhelmingly happy when they tried it.
If you’re interested in making pizzas using an air fryer, here are some things to keep in mind:
1) This is not a super-simple process — even if you know how to make pizzas with a conventional oven, you will need some new skills and techniques (like those below)
2) You will need a special baking stone or baking tray which allows you to cook the dough directly on its surface without burning it (plain metal or glass are good choices).
3) There are several varieties of metal baking trays available — one type is made of stainless steel which can be used for both frying and baking; another kind has black non-stick coating so it conducts heat better than plain metal; and another type has square sides which make them ideal for frying — these ones are inexpensive but worth looking into if your budget doesn’t cover a heavy set up.
4) Buy a good quality onion grinder as well as some cheap knives which won’t slip while grinding onions — both pieces of equipment should match up with what else you buy (if they don’t match up well with each other, they might conflict with each other).
5) Find out what kind of pizza dough works best for this particular kind of pizza — do different varieties work well? What styles requires soaking or pre-soaking? Ask your local pizzeria what their

I hate to admit it, but I’m no good at cooking. I can make pasta, but that’s about it. I’m terrible with sauces, and if someone gives me a recipe to use, I lose interest almost immediately. For the most part, my cooking is an experiment: trying something new and hoping for the best.
I have a few tricks though. One of them is a technique called “air frying” or “oven frying” — which is basically making things air-fry in a very hot oven (or otherwise turn them into fried food). In fact, there are several different kinds of “fried foods” (i.e., food cooked by deep-frying), but this one is pretty popular right now — and it works really well for pizza.
Air frying really does work for pizza — though on the surface this sounds counterintuitive because you want your crust to be crispy! But actually, if you watch your crust that way it doesn’t need to be crispy; that’s just how air conducts heat better than other materials (which is why you sometimes see a pizza made with only flour).
The key benefit of air frying is its ability to cook things rapidly without burning them: think of how fast an oven heats up versus how quickly it cooks food during an open flame oven or convection oven . If you give your crust lots of time to rest between each batch then that means you will get something close to the same result; and as long as you don’t let it sit or let your crust cool too much before placing it in the oven, which isn’t hard at all if you make sure everything else around it stays warm enough too , then there’s no risk at all that your crust will burn (though there’s still some risk if you use an oven with inadequate temperature control , which can happen with convection ovens unless they are well-ventilated ).
If there’s one thing we’ve learned from our years doing this in both kitchens and incubators , though, it’s that even when things start out looking like they’re supposed to work out great — but then somehow don’t . The worst case scenario happens when you try one thing and don’t like what comes out; or when one batch starts out good but isn’t delicious after being left sitting for hours; or some other unintended consequence of bad timing ; or something else entirely. So as we move
3. The Right Recipe: What you need to cook pizza in an air fryer for a great taste.
A good recipe is one that you can cook at home, that’s easy to make, and tastes great! If your pizza doesn’t taste like the one you buy at the store, then it’s not a good recipe.
4. The Perfect Air Fryer: Choose the right air fryer for cooking pizza.
The air fryer is often looked at as a tool that will give you the ability to cook your food in the oven and grill. However, it is not without its drawbacks. It is possible that you have heard of the air fryer but have no idea what it is or how to use it. This post will show you how to use an air fryer and how to cook pizza in an air fryer.
Air frying pizza is an easy way to make fresh, delicious pizzas in a short amount of time. You don’t need any special equipment or fancy recipes, but you do need some patience and skill when making pizza in an air fryer.
You’ll need one of two things for making pizza with an air fryer: a pair of tongs (you can use a pair from good quality plastic tongs) and a good quality silicon spatula . This post assumes that you are using two tongs (one for each side) because that is what we have available in our kitchen. If you have only one, just add one more piece of plastic.
Make sure that everything on your baking sheet sits flat on the countertop so that the pizza doesn’t get too hot before you take it out of the oven!
As soon as your dough has come together, prepare your pan by adding oil or butter to keep it from sticking and distorting during cooking. This will help keep your dough from burning on the bottom when cooking in the air fryer!
You are now ready to start cooking your recipe using an air fryer oven! First, preheat your apartment’s convection oven (or buy one if yours isn’t). Turn your oven on to 350°F . The temperature inside an oven can vary depending on what kind of food products are used; however, we recommend keeping the temperature around 350°F until after baking so that all ingredients bake evenly!
Place toppings or sauce onto your baking sheet according to their type (you can find a list here ). For example:
For baked goods like breads or muffins: Place cornmeal on top of them (this will help prevent from sticking also) . Spread butter over them . Then spread flour over them . Finally sprinkle yeast over them . Let these dry out by warming up their sides before placing them into the oven . After they have risen once, they should be ready for baking !
For pizza toppings: We recommend using cornmeal instead of
5. Prepping the Pizza: How to prepare your pizza for air frying.
When it comes to cooking pizza, there are two things you must consider:
• First, how do you make your dough? It’s called “dough” because it is the basic building block of any pizza. We recommend using a traditional recipe for the dough because that way it is easy to replicate — and easier to adjust if necessary. The key is to let your dough rise before you cook it so that the heat from the oven can reach all of the ingredients. Try this recipe before you buy any other kind: 20 ounces gluten-free flour, 1/2 teaspoon (1 mL) salt, 1 tablespoon (15 mL) dried yeast, 1/2 cup (125 mL) warm water.
Mix well with a spoon and let sit for 15 minutes. Divide into 10 parts and form each part into a ball by gently placing on some plastic wrap or parchment paper. Invert a plate on top of each ball while they are still warm and cover with another plate so that they don’t drop off when they cool down. Cover them again with plastic wrap or parchment paper and let them rest for 30 minutes.
Repeat this process 3 more times until your dough feels almost spongy but not too sticky; then prepare your air fryer according to menu instructions (perform preheating before you begin cooking). Alternatively, if you want to make your own pizza sauce in large batches or as a group use your favorite recipe in small quantities (pizza can be expensive!).

6. Cooking the Pizza: Follow these steps for a delicious air fried pizza.
In this short post we’ll share the steps to a delicious pizza made with an air fryer. Air frying has become increasingly popular in recent years, and while it might not seem like much of an improvement over conventional ovens, it is a great way to cook more quickly and efficiently without the worry of burning your food.
The air fryer is typically divided into two parts: the basket and the basket base. The basket serves as a support for your food, and holds it in place while you cook it on the grill. This keeps your food from moving around while you are cooking. The basket base is an important part of this process because it helps dispense the food from the basket so that it reaches its perfect temperature quickly, which makes for a crisp crust on your pizza!
Of course there are other aspects of making a great pizza that you can’t just follow with this method — air frying does not come packaged with any instructions, so you have to be careful when following these steps. In fact, some people take these steps at their own risk!
We’ll go through each step one-by-one so that you can make sure that everything is working properly in order to get perfectly crispy crust on your pizza.
How To Make An Air Fryer Pizza In 5 Easy Steps:
1) Place bowl on grill with lid closed . You need to close the lid every time you cook so that you don’t get burned by too much heat (this makes sure that heat doesn’t escape into your food and cause issues). We recommend using a lid template if possible, but if not then use plastic wrap or aluminum foil for now until we finish up later.
2) Set bowl down on grill with lid closed . Fits all baskets (no metal required). You can also use a tray if plastic isn’t available or something else small enough to fit in your oven (e.g., a pot).
3) Using oven mitts , open door enough to remove foil from inside of bowl . Some models may require using tongs instead — no metal required here! Note: This step is optional as we will be doing all of our cooking outside anyway (using our air fryer), but if you prefer internal cooking then again no metal required here!
4) Add ingredients (e.g., flour, baking powder) into bowl and mix thoroughly by hand until evenly moistened; use whisk or spatula only if needed – no metal
7. Toppings and Extras: Add your favorite toppings to your pizza.
The first step of any recipe is to name it. You may not realize it, but naming a recipe is an essential part of the process. “Pizza” is a good example of this. If you’re making pizza dough and want to call it something else, you’d have to change the name of your recipe.
The same goes for ingredients: if you’re going to make some sort of marinara sauce, you might have to change the name of your recipe. It’s the same with toppings: if you’re going to add veggies to your pizza, you’d have to change the name of your recipe.
You can also have different names for different types of ingredients or toppings (for example, a “must-have” topping might be called “make-it-yourself” in one context and “buy-it-ready” in another). This creates an easy way for people who want something specific but don’t want to do that extra work, or are looking to make a special dish without having their brain cells die off while they were making it (and don’t want someone telling them they can’t).
8. Conclusion: Give your air fried pizza a try!
It’s a great way to get your food out of the oven in an efficient and satisfying way.
Air fryers are one of those things that I was reminded about when I realized my coworker, who is also a chef, had bought one. I remember asking him if he cooked his food in it, and he said he cooked his pizza in it.
He was surprised that I didn’t think it was possible to cook cheese on top of an air fryer; but, once we started looking into it, I realized pizza would be the perfect thing for an air fryer. You can do just about anything on a pizza with a little creativity. Here’s how:

Cooking time Instructions
Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the pizza stone or baking sheet on the middle rack for direct heat from the bottom up (so you will use less cooking oil than if you were using foil). You may want to alternate placing the stones or baking sheets over indirect heat from oven side down so your surface will dry as much as possible before cooking begins as well as cool off quicker afterwards.
If you forget installing a rack into your oven, you should be able to use one of these accordingly without problems; simply line them with parchment while they are still warm! Note: Before placing the active ingredients onto your cooking
