Rocket, which is also known as Arugula or garden rocket, is one of the nutritious green leafy vegetables of Mediterranean origin. It has the scientific name: Eruca sativa. It may also be known in various places around the globe as rugula, rucola, rucoli, colewort or roquette.

There’s no vegetable quite like Rocket, and I’ll explain why below.

I’m a big believer in trying many combinations of pizza toppings, until you find the ones that suit you the best. However, to help you navigate the multitude of pizza styles and toppings, try these;

Remember though, that you add Rocket AFTER you have cooked your pizza.

Don’t stop at those though, keep trying various combinations and amounts. I prefer 3-6 toppings; any more, and my pizza is too heavy and no topping stands out very well. That’s just my personal taste though.
